Cheers, Rosa Thanks dad ;) I don't think I can manage to save you some...I'll make one for you guys one of these days. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Kruidkoek translates as "herb cake" so I guess they use the same word for spice as herb. (I am learning flemish so I could be wrong) I will bookmark this and give it a go. x
Thanks Bev! You're right that it translates as 'herb cake' but despite that we don't use the same word for spice as herb. Spices are called 'specerijen'. The name 'kruidkoek' is just not really correct, it should have been named 'specerijkoek'...
